Darryl Weinberger
Mr. Weinberger has taught in Edmonton Public Schools since 1994 at McNally High School where he was the Athletics Department Head and the Student’s Union Advisor. Darryl has worked extensively in the Hockey Alberta Program with both the Under 16 Program and the Under 17 Program winning the Alberta Cup in 2000. He has coached a wide range of minor hockey teams ranging from Initiation to Midget AAA.
Darryl was an assistant coach with the Edmonton Ice for two seasons and the Edmonton Oil Kings for three seasons in the WHL. Darryl also was the lead instructor with the Presence Program. Darryl has worked at the Perry Pearn 3 vs 3 Hockey Camps for the past 14 years and has instructed with Quantum Speed. Darryl played in the AJHL with the Red Deer Rustlers and Olds Grizzlies where he was named Best Defenseman in 1985-1986. He played at Red Deer College in 1989 where they won Silver at the National Finals.
Darryl and his wife Cathy have two children Kaylynn and Thomas.
