Jason McKee
Jason currently teaches Junior High Physical Education, Science, and Math.
Jason’s hockey experience is extensive. He played Junior A hockey in Lloydminster, starting in his first season there being voted as Rookie of the Year and finishing a couple years later as team captain, top scorer and most valuable player. He then went on to play at Michigan Technological University on a hockey scholarship. From there he went to the Seattle Thunderbirds and finished up his playing career in the East Coast Professional Hockey League, playing for Richmond Virginia, Baton Rouge Louisiana and Birmingham Alabama.
Jason is presently an assistant coach with the Spruce Grove Saints of the Alberta Junior A Hockey league.
It’s about time he settled down a bit, and we are very pleased that he landed in our lap. Jason not only brings an extensive range of experience, he is also a fantastic teacher.
