Vanessa Hettinger

Resident Skating Instructor

Vanessa Hettinger has been involved with The Hockey Program since 2002 and is currently the resident skating instructor. She brings knowledge and expertise acquired through her hockey experience as well as her role as General Manager and Master Instructor with Quantum Speed High Performance Skating Systems which you can find at www.quantumspeed.ca.

Her hockey experience includes playing with the University of Alberta Pandas while earning a B.A. in Political Science and Economics.  Her teaching experience includes working all over Canada and the United States with Quantum Speed, including with players from PeeWee to Pro and with teams such as the Edmonton Oil Kings (WHL), the Tri-City Americans (WHL), and the University of Alberta Pandas (CIS).  Quantum Speed is well-known for its innovative approach and team of instructors who exude professionalism, enthusiasm, and attention to detail.  Quantum Speed exhibits an uncompromising commitment to results.

Vanessa finds working with the students and staff at The Hockey Program extremely rewarding, due to their passion and motivation, as well as their drive to succeed.
