Facilities

The Hockey Program operates out of Vimy Ridge Academy and Donnan School in Edmonton, Alberta and various City of Edmonton Arenas. Vimy and Donnan are home to some of the most advanced training facilities in the city. Both campuses include a variety of innovative and exciting training equipment that motivates our student athletes to be as strong and as fast as they can be away from the rink. Aside from the combined 20 000 square feet of training space in the two fitness centers, some of the amenities on campus include:

• Access to Bonnie Doon Pool

• Three full-sized gymnasiums

• Indoor Climbing Wall

• Skating Treadmill

• Shooting Cage

• Outdoor Olympic-size running track with multiple sports fields

• Preferred ice times at City of Edmonton Arenas

The Hockey Program also makes use of facilities that aren’t as closely related to hockey, but still important in the development of young athletes. Some of these locations include the Phoenix Gymnastics Centre, the Shamrock Curling Club, the University of Alberta Butterdome, and Foote Field.
