THP Parents,

Here is the January Schedule for the Chargers.

Please note the following:

• Please continue to make note of the Treadmill days.

• The on ice theme in January will be Transition where we will focus on anticipation, speed of attack, support, timing, awareness, back checking principles and speed of transition. Goalies will be focusing on post save recovery, lateral movement, and net play.

• January 11 and 19 will be special stick handling development days. We have a guest instructor, Brad Corrigan (Turcotte Stick handling), and goalies will work with Dustin.

• Grade nines will be off for exams from Monday January 24 to Thursday January 27. Grade 8 students will be participating with the Ravens Group during this time.

• Goalies Sessions on January 5 and 26 both at Kenilworth. January 26 will be optional for grade 9 goalies as it occurs during the Grade 9 exam break.

• This will be our last month together as a group as we will moving to Forward and Defenseman groups starting on January 31. Group notifications and schedules will go out during the grade 9 exam break. Our official last session as a group will be Friday January 28.

• I will be away for the rest of this week. Handling the group for the rest of the week will be Dan Bouwmeester-Wednesday, Rick Carriere-Thursday, and Dustin Schwartz-Friday.
