Roger Castle

Roger is a native of Niagara Falls Ontario and graduated from Wilfred Laurier University and the University of Western Ontario with a degree in geography and education respectively. Upon arriving in Alberta he continued his teaching career and completed his master's degree in Education Administration from the University of Alberta.

Following a teaching and administrative career which spanned 28 years, Roger currently teaches education courses at Concordia University College of Alberta and works as the academic and athletic counselor for EPSB and the Sports Alternative program.

Roger has been involved in sports throughout his life but has devoted the majority of this time to hockey. He spent many years as a linesman at various levels of amateur, professional and international competition. Worthy of note is that Roger initiated the position of education consultant for the Alberta Junior Hockey League and held the post for five years.

Currently, Roger is the education advisor for the Edmonton Oil Kings (WHL) and is in his tenth year of employment with the hockey program.
